Food & Drink Vending Service - Ware SP

Background
The Georgia Department of Corrections is seeking a contractor to provide food and drink vending services at Ware State Prison. The goal of this contract is to ensure that high-quality snacks and beverages are available to the facility's employees and visitors while generating revenue through commission on sales.

Work Details
The contractor will install automatic food and drink vending machines at no cost to the Department. The machines must be supplied with high-quality products that comply with health and sanitation standards. The contractor is responsible for maintaining the machines, ensuring they are operational, and providing sufficient stock.

Specific requirements include:
- Installation of Energy Star compliant vending machines.
- Machines must be stocked within 14 calendar days of contract start date.
- Weekly pickup of expired or damaged items and replacement with fresh products.
- Ability for customers to use credit/debit cards for purchases.
- Monthly reporting of sales and commission payments due by the 10th of each month.
- Compliance with all Department rules, including dress code and behavior standards.

Period of Performance
The contract will begin upon award and will have four annual renewal options, allowing for continued service based on performance and funding availability.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at Ware State Prison located at 3620 North Harris Road, Waycross, GA 31503.
