Field House

Background
The Commerce City Schools is seeking a Construction Manager At-Risk (CM At-Risk) for the new construction of a multipurpose athletic facility and improvements to existing athletic facilities at Commerce High School. The goal of this contract is to provide professional construction services that will ensure the successful completion of the project within budget and on schedule. The Commerce City Board of Education reserves the right to reject any and all proposals.

Work Details
The scope of work includes the construction of a new multipurpose athletic facility which may consist of:
- Field house
- Weight room
- Locker rooms
- Team room
- Coaches' offices
- Training room
- Equipment room

Additional improvements may arise during the project as dictated by budgetary considerations. The selected contractor will be responsible for preconstruction services including technical review, cost verification, value engineering, schedule development, and management of all construction activities. The contractor will also oversee safety protocols and coordinate with various subcontractors to ensure compliance with project specifications.

Period of Performance
Preconstruction services are expected to begin immediately upon execution of the contract. Construction is tentatively scheduled to commence on December 15th, 2024, with substantial completion anticipated by July 1st, 2025.

The contract will be performed at Commerce High School located at 270 Lakeview Drive, Commerce, Georgia 30529.
