Description

The Georgia World Congress Center Authority ( Authority ) will receive responses from firms specializing in Employee Uniform Rental and Services. The Authority retains the right to reject any or all submittals, and to waive technicalities, irregularities, and informalities, or cancel this procurement at any time. IMPORTANT- A RESTRICTION OF COMMUNICATION IS IN EFFECT FOR THIS PROJECT. From the time of advertisement of this solicitation until final award is made, interested firms are not allowed or permitted to communicate about this solicitation or scope with any staff or any official representatives of the Authority, GWCC, or other facilities of the Authority, or their consultants, except for submission of questions as instructed in the IFB, or as provided by any existing work agreement(s). Finalists and Apparent Awardee(s) are restricted from making public statements or press releases about their selection as finalists or their apparent award. For violation of this restriction, the Authority reserves the right to reject the submittal of the offending respondent.
Background
The Georgia World Congress Center Authority (GWCCA) is soliciting proposals from experienced firms specializing in Employee Uniform Rental and Services. The Authority aims to enhance the appearance, satisfaction, and perception of its staff across multiple departments within the Georgia World Congress Center and Centennial Olympic Park. This initiative is part of the Authority's commitment to providing high-quality services that contribute to the overall image of its facilities.

Work Details
The selected contractor will provide a comprehensive Employee Uniform Rental and Service Program for approximately 100+ employees. Services include:

- Weekly delivery and pickup of uniforms
- Laundry services
- Replacement of worn items
- Costs for lost/unreturned items

Specific uniform requirements include:
1. Quick-dry fabric short sleeve polo shirts with embroidered logos (10 Small, 80 Medium, 150 Large, 150 X-Large, 150 XX-Large, 50 XXX-Large).
2. Quick-dry fabric long sleeve polo shirts with embroidered logos (same quantities as short sleeve).
3. Medium weight jackets with embroidered logos.
4. Heavyweight jackets or coveralls with embroidered logos.
5. Purchase options for full-time personnel uniforms including additional quantities of shirts and jackets as specified.
6. Uniforms must be provided in various colors as selected by the Owner.

Period of Performance
The initial term of the contract will be approximately three (3) years, with an option for two (2) consecutive one-year extensions at the discretion of the Owner.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed at the Georgia World Congress Center located at 285 International Blvd. N.W., Atlanta, Georgia 30313.
