Camden County Board of Commissioners is currently seeking competitive proposals from specialized insurance brokerage firm to provide expert guidance and management for our employee benefits program. Competitive sealed proposals will be received by the Camden County purchasing office. Proposals must be submitted in person to 200 East 4th St, Woodbine, GA 31569. Proposals must be received at the office of the Purchasing Officer, no later than 2 p.m. on Thursday, October 10, 2024 referencing Employee Benefits Brokerage and Consulting Services RFP#P25-1555-02, at which time they will be opened and proposers name publicly read. No proposal shall be withdrawn after the closing time for a period of ninety (90) days. Digital Proposal Documents will be available for download on the Camden County website Purchasing Page www.camdencountyga.gov after 8am on Thursday, September 12, 2024. Questions regarding this proposal may be directed in writing to the Purchasing Officer, Kelsey Kelley at bids@camdencountyga.gov. Background
The Camden County Board of Commissioners is seeking proposals from specialized insurance brokerage firms to provide expert guidance and management for their employee benefits program. The County has a history of providing self-insured employee medical insurance benefits and offers various fully insured coverage options including dental, vision, life insurance, and disability insurance.

Work Details
The selected firm will provide comprehensive Employee Benefits Brokerage and Consulting Services, which include:
- Management of employee benefits programs for approximately 350 full-time employees and their dependents.
- Support in maintaining a protected self-insured medical insurance benefit.
- Guidance on fully insured coverage options for dental, vision, hospital indemnity, critical illness, accident insurance, life insurance, short- and long-term disability.
- Contributions to health savings accounts for eligible employees.
- Development of an employee wellness program aimed at reducing medical plan costs.
- Ongoing compliance support with state and federal regulations regarding employee benefits.

Period of Performance
The contract will be for a three-year term with two optional one-year extensions. The initial contract period is expected to start on January 1, 2025.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at the Camden County Board of Commissioners located at 200 East 4th Street, Woodbine, Georgia.
