Invest Atlanta (IA) is seeking qualified firms to provide strategic planning services for Atlanta's Economic Development 4-year strategy and implementation plan. The goal is to identify a single firm that can leverage local and national expertise to enhance economic mobility and empowerment, ensuring the city remains competitive in the global economy.

Atlanta, a major transportation hub with a diverse business climate, faces challenges such as income inequality and housing affordability. This necessitates a new economic development strategy focused on balanced growth.

Work Details
The selected firm will be responsible for creating an economic development strategy that emphasizes both place-based and people-based strategies. Key objectives include:

1) Developing a strategic action plan to enhance economic resilience and growth, including a Five Force Analysis and recommendations for international competitiveness;
2) Designing transformative program models to improve skill sets aligned with industry needs;
3) Coordinating with existing city strategies like the Moving ATL Forward Plan;
4) Evaluating Invest Atlanta's toolkit for gaps in services;
5) Creating a metrics-driven implementation plan with core principles for decision-making.

Deliverables include SWOT analysis, strategic action plans, economic mobility strategies, value creation analyses, and progress checks post-implementation.

Period of Performance
The contract will last for two years, subject to satisfactory annual performance reviews. Deliverables are expected within nine to twelve months from the commencement date.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed in Atlanta, Georgia.
