Description

The purpose of the PNA is to inform the Consultant community of the upcoming RFQ opportunity. Full scope of work, instructions and requirements for the upcoming RFQ are to be posted as indicated below in the anticipated schedule. No questions or submittals are due during the PNA. Design Services for the indicated TIA Projects. Scope of work anticipated to be full design services required to produce final construction plans for GDOT letting and all required approvals, permits, estimates, etc. required for project lettings.
Background
The Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) is issuing a Public Notice of Advertisement (PNA) to inform the Consultant community about an upcoming Request for Qualifications (RFQ) opportunity.

The goal of this contract is to secure full design services for various Transportation Investment Act (TIA) projects, which will include producing final construction plans and obtaining all necessary approvals and permits.

Work Details
The scope of work includes full design services required to produce final construction plans for GDOT letting, along with all necessary approvals, permits, estimates, etc., for project lettings.

The anticipated contracts consist of one multi-phase project-specific contract for each of the two indicated contracts:
1. Muscogee CR 2249/Williams Road from Franciscan Woods Drive to SR 1-TIA (Contract PI # B14-1, Project ID 0019520)
2. Muscogee CUSSETA Road from 10th Ave to Fort Benning Road - TIA (Contract PI # B14-2, Project ID 0019522).

The primary payment method will be Firm Fixed Price; however, GDOT reserves the right to utilize Specific Rates of Compensation and/or Cost-Plus Fixed Fee as deemed necessary.

Period of Performance
The RFQ is anticipated to be issued on April 10, 2025, with Statements of Qualifications due by May 12, 2025.

The exact period of performance will be defined in the RFQ.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed in Muscogee County, Georgia.
