Consultant For Chattahoochee Riverlands Trail Bridge

Background
The City of Smyrna is issuing a Request for Proposal (RFP) for a consultant to explore feasible bridge locations that will connect regional greenway trail systems across the Chattahoochee River in Atlanta and Smyrna, Georgia.

This initiative is part of a project funded by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development under the Economic Development Initiative Community Project.

Work Details
The consultant will be responsible for providing the following services:
- Project administration
- Public engagement
- Site investigation and due diligence
- Development of concepts in accordance with Department of Transportation (DOT) standards.

Period of Performance
The contract work is expected to be completed by March 13, 2026.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed in Smyrna, Georgia, specifically focusing on locations across the Chattahoochee River.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must comply with all Federal, State, and local requirements. Minority and female firms are encouraged to participate in this federally funded project.

Bidders should also be familiar with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and Executive Order 11246 regarding Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action.
