Construction Management Services for Athletic Improvements

Background
The Calhoun City School District is seeking proposals from qualified Construction Management Firms for the construction of additions and renovations to Calhoun High School Athletics, specifically for Phase 3 and Phase 4.

The goal of this project is to enhance the athletic facilities at the school, aligning with the district's mission to provide quality education and facilities for its students.

Work Details
The scope of work includes:
- **Phase 3:**
- Construction of a new two-story Athletic Fieldhouse building approximately 20,000 square feet, which will include locker rooms, offices, meeting rooms, a training room, restrooms, and storage rooms.
- Construction of a new Hitting & Pitching Facility that includes storage and locker room space.
- Renovations to the existing home side restroom building at the baseball stadium.

- **Phase 4:**
- Construction of a new Multipurpose Athletic Facility approximately 14,000 square feet in size that will include multipurpose athletic space, restrooms, storage space, and locker room space.

The budget, timeline, and scope for Phase 4 will be finalized during the planning and construction of Phase 3.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon selection of the Construction Management Firm and is expected to cover both phases with specific timelines to be established during the planning stages.

A mandatory pre-proposal meeting is scheduled for October 17, 2024, with proposals due by October 30, 2024.

Place of Performance
The project will be performed at Calhoun High School located at 355 S. River Street, Calhoun, Georgia 30701.
