Concession Services for Parks & Recreation

Background
Forsyth County, Georgia is seeking information from qualified concession service providers to support the operation of concession stands at multiple park locations within the County. The purpose of this Request for Information (RFI) is to gather input from firms with expertise in concession services to refine the structure, scale, and financial model for potential outsourcing of these operations. Forsyth County operates multiple concession stands serving youth athletics, tournaments, and community events. The aim is to improve consistency, service quality, and financial performance through this initiative.

Work Details
The RFI seeks feedback on a proposed model that includes three regional operating areas with a total of twenty-nine concession stands distributed across North, South, and West Regions. The specific parks include:
- Region A - North: Lanierland Park, Coal Mountain Park, Central Park, Bennett Park
- Region B - South: Fowler Park, Joint Venture Park, South Forsyth Soccer Complex, Sharon Springs Park
- Region C - West: Sawnee Mountain Park, Midway Park, Matt Community Park.
Respondents are asked to provide information on operational capacity, regional model feedback, interest level in operating specific regions, financial structures including revenue-sharing models and minimum annual guarantees per region. Additionally, they should address site viability factors affecting profitability and preferred contract terms along with key provisions for success.

Responses to this RFI are due by 2:00 p.m. (EST) on May 15, 2026. This RFI is for market research purposes only and may lead to a future Request for Proposal (RFP).

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at various park locations within Forsyth County, Georgia including but not limited to Cumming and Suwanee.

Bidder Requirements
Respondents must have experience in operating multi-site concession programs and provide company information including years in operation and descriptions of similar contracts. They should also address operational capacity within a 30-mile radius and provide insights on staffing models. There are no specific set-aside certifications mentioned in the RFI.
