Concession Services for Johnson Park, American Legion Field, and Earl O'Neal Field

Background
The Rockdale County Parks and Recreation Department is seeking proposals from qualified vendors to operate and manage food and beverage concession services at Johnson Park, American Legion Field, and Earl O’Neal Sports Fields located in Conyers, GA.

The goal of this concession program is to provide convenience and enhance the enjoyment of park patrons.

Work Details
The selected vendor will have exclusive rights to sell approved food and beverage concessions within the park grounds during scheduled events.

The concession services must comply with state and local regulations regarding food preparation and distribution, including displaying required 'Serve Safe' certifications. The vendor will be responsible for cleaning all service areas inside the concession facility and for trash disposal within a fifty-foot radius from the point of sale.

The vendor must provide their own Point of Sales system and any necessary network and communications needs. Menu items must include only pre-packaged foods (e.g., chips, cookies, candies, nachos) and Coca-Cola products; cooking or frying is not permitted due to ventilation issues. Alcohol sales are prohibited.

Utility services will be provided by Rockdale County under the Concession Agreement, which will last for one year with an option to extend for up to three additional one-year terms upon mutual agreement.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon award and is expected to last for one year, with potential extensions based on mutual agreement.

Place of Performance
Concession services will be performed at Johnson Park, American Legion Field, and Earl O’Neal Sports Fields located in Conyers, Georgia.
