Background
The City of Adairsville, Georgia, is issuing a Request for Proposal (RFP) for Commercial Solid Waste Collection Services.
The purpose of this RFP is to solicit proposals from qualified vendors to provide solid waste collection services to commercial units within the city limits.

Work Details
The contractor will provide solid waste collection and disposal services for commercial refuse placed in vendor-provided containers.
Services include:
- Collection frequency and service quality must match that provided to other commercial units in the area.
- The preferred disposal site is Bartow County Solid Waste Landfill, but other sites may be acceptable based on waste type.
- Collection vehicles must be leak-proof and covered to prevent spillage.
- Customer service standards require resolution of complaints received by 1:00 p.m. on the same day, and those received after 1:00 p.m. by noon the next day.
- A Customer Service Center must be maintained with specific operational hours and complaint handling procedures.
- The contractor must ensure cleanliness during collections and maintain a courteous demeanor among personnel, who must wear identifiable uniforms.

Period of Performance
The contract term will begin on October 1, 2024, for a period of five years, ending on September 30, 2029, with options for four one-year renewals pending mutual agreement.

The services will be performed within the city limits of Adairsville, Georgia.
