City of Vidalia TIA 2 Band 1 - Stockyard Road

Background
The City of Vidalia is issuing a contract for the construction of Stockyard Road as part of the TIA 2 Band 1 project. The mission of this project is to enhance local infrastructure by constructing a new roadway that meets safety and operational standards. The goal is to provide a complete roadway system that includes necessary traffic control and erosion measures.

Work Details
The contract involves new roadway construction, which includes:
- Traffic control measures
- Erosion control measures
- Construction of a 20' wide roadway
- Approximately 888 linear feet (LF) of 18” Reinforced Concrete Pipe (RCP)
- Approximately 0.87 linear miles of mainline road grading and topping
- Approximately 5,750 LF of curb and gutter installation
- Approximately 7,333 tons (TN) of graded aggregate base course
- Approximately 807 TN of 9.5 mm RAC Superpave Asphalt
- Installation of signage and striping
- All other necessary appurtenances for a complete job.

Period of Performance
All work on the project must be completed within 240 consecutive calendar days from the date of notice to proceed.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at Stockyard Road in Vidalia, Georgia.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must submit the following with their bid:
1. Bid bond or certified check
2. Work experience in proposal section
3. Affidavit of non-collusion
4. Contractor’s license number (if required for this project)
5. Certification of nonsegregated facilities
6. Bidding contractor drug-free workplace certification
7. Contractor’s certification regarding debarment, etc.
8. Equal opportunity clause
9. E-Verify Form(s).
Additionally, bids must be sealed and filed with the City of Vidalia prior to the designated time and accompanied by a Bidder's Bond for 10 percent of the bid amount.
