City of Mableton official Seal, logo and Brand identity System

Background
The City of Mableton, one of Georgia's newest municipalities, is seeking a qualified firm to lead a research-driven initiative to develop the City’s official seal, logo, and comprehensive brand identity system. This project aims to establish a clear and meaningful identity for the City early in its formation, reflecting the community's character and values while enhancing civic pride. It will also ensure consistency across all City communications.

Work Details
The selected firm will be responsible for conducting research and discovery to gather stakeholder input; developing a strategic brand framework; designing the official seal and logo; and producing comprehensive brand guidelines that establish standards for visual identity, messaging, and usage. The project will include the following phases:

1) Research and Discovery: Assess community identity and review existing materials.

2) Brand Strategy Development: Define brand positioning, values, messaging, and identity direction.

3) Design and Identity Creation: Develop the official seal, logo, and supporting visual elements.

4) Brand Guidelines and Standards: Establish comprehensive usage standards.

Deliverables include a Brand Research Summary, final city seal, primary logo with variations, supporting visual elements, color palette specifications, typography recommendations, a brand guidelines document, and a starter toolkit for internal use.

Period of Performance
The project is anticipated to be completed within approximately four (4) to six (6) months following contract execution.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed in Mableton, Georgia.

Bidder Requirements
Firms must be registered with the City of Mableton Purchasing Division as documented plan holders to submit proposals. Required documentation includes an E-Verify Affidavit, IRS Form W-9, valid Business License, Certificate of Insurance (COI), compliance with local/state/federal laws including non-discrimination requirements and conflict of interest provisions. Proposals must also demonstrate financial capability to perform the contract.
