City of Douglas Resurfacing and Striping of Various Road Surfaces (Lancore Engineering, P.C. Project

Background
The City of Douglas is seeking bids for the improvement and rehabilitation of various road surfaces as part of a project managed by Lancore Engineering, P.C. The goal of this contract is to enhance the infrastructure within the city, ensuring safer and more reliable roadways for its residents.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for furnishing all labor, tools, equipment, and appurtenances necessary to rehabilitate, resurface, and stripe a total of 4.3 miles of new and existing asphalt road surfaces. The work must adhere to the specifications provided in the contract documents.

The estimated budget for this project is $1,300,000.00.

Period of Performance
The work on the project must be completed within 180 consecutive calendar days from the date of notice to proceed.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed in the City of Douglas, Georgia.

Bidder Requirements
Bids must include a certified check or Bid Bond payable to the City of Douglas for at least five (5) percent of the lump sum bid. Successful bidders will also need to provide separate Performance Bonds and Payment Bonds equal to one hundred (100) percent of the contract amount prior to execution.
