City of Adel - SPLOST Resurfacing Improvements

Background
The City of Adel, Georgia is issuing this solicitation for the FY 2025 Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax (SPLOST) project aimed at improving local infrastructure.
The goal of this contract is to enhance the road conditions through leveling and resurfacing improvements on several streets within the city, thereby supporting the community's transportation needs.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for furnishing all materials, labor, tools, equipment, and incidentals necessary for the installation of Leveling and Resurfacing Improvements to the following streets:
- Peeblewood Drive
- Moss Way
- West First Street
- West Mitchell Street
- South Cedar Street
- South Brookshire Drive
- Patterson Street.
The work must comply with the Georgia Department of Transportation Standard Specifications and any applicable Supplemental Specifications.

Period of Performance
All work on the project must be completed within 180 consecutive calendar days from the date of contract award.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed in various locations within the City of Adel, Georgia.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must submit a Bid Bond in favor of the City of Adel for at least five percent (5%) of the lump sum bid.
The contractor must be a current 'Prequalified Contractor' with the Georgia Department of Transportation or receive prior written approval from the City of Adel.
A copy of the Contractor’s 'Notice of Contractor Qualification' or an approval letter must accompany the bid. All bidders must obtain a bid package from Statewide Engineering, Inc. to be considered certified.
