Description

The City of Cartersville is requesting bids for eleven (11) 2-wheel drive Chevrolet Tahoes (9-Patrol, 2-Admin.) for the police department. Attached are the specifications for the vehicles and all bids are due no later than the close of business (5:00 P.M.) on May 6, 2024. The bids should be mailed to: Cartersville Police Department Attention: Deputy Chief T.E. Ellis P.O. Box 1390 Cartersville, Georgia 30120 The bids will be opened on May 9, 2024, at 10:00 A.M. at the Cartersville Police Department, 195 Cassville Road SE, Cartersville, Georgia 30120. Work Details
The solicitation is for the purchase of eleven (11) 2-wheel drive Chevrolet Tahoes for the police department, with nine (9) intended for patrol and two (2) for administrative use. The vehicles are required to meet specific specifications including a 5.3L Ecotech V8 Engine, 2WD 4-door LT, Park view rear back-up camera, driver/front passenger air bags, power seats/windows/locks/steering, navigation system/Bluetooth technology, tilt steering, heavy-duty alternator and battery, heavy-duty braking package, factory A/C and rear HVAC, AM/FM stereo radio, factory tinted side windows, exterior paint in Summit White or Black Clear Coat color options, 18-inch x 8.5-inch aluminum wheels with P265/65R18 all-season tires, trailer tow group IV including hitch receiver and wiring plugs, full-size spare tire, and a minimum of four additional keys per unit.
