Background
The Coweta County School System is seeking sealed competitive proposals for renovations to their Central Office. The goal of this contract is to enhance the facilities of the Coweta County Schools, ensuring they meet current standards and requirements.

Work Details
The project involves renovations to the Coweta County Schools Central Office. General Contractors are invited to submit proposals that include a completed Competitive Sealed Proposal Form, a signed Bid Form, a Bid Bond, and affidavits demonstrating compliance with Georgia laws regarding security and immigration.

A mandatory pre-proposal meeting is required for all bidders. The proposal must also include performance and payment bonds amounting to 100% of the contract sum prior to the commencement of construction.

Period of Performance
The contract work is expected to be performed following the proposal submission deadline of June 3, 2025, with specific timelines for completion to be determined post-award.

Place of Performance
The renovations will take place at the Coweta County Schools Central Office located at 170 Werz Industrial Blvd, Newnan, GA 30264.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must attend a mandatory pre-proposal meeting on May 21, 2025. Proposals must include a bid bond of 5% of the base bid and comply with O.C.G.A. 13-10-91 and O.C.G.A. 50-36-1 regarding lawful presence verification. All bonds must be from a surety licensed in Georgia.
