Background
The Columbia County School District (CCSD), located in Evans, Georgia, serves the residents of Evans, Martinez, Grovetown, Appling, Harlem, and surrounding areas. The district comprises 31 schools, two transportation offices, two Facility Maintenance and Operations offices, two collocated Data Centers, and one administrative building.

The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is for the Information Technology Department to solicit proposals from qualified sources to conduct a complete Business Impact Analysis and develop a Business Continuity Plan that will lead to a robust Disaster Recovery Plan compliant with NIST recommendations.

Work Details
The contractor will provide the following services:

1. Conduct a Business Impact Analysis to identify strategies and measures to reduce vulnerability to incidents that could lead to significant losses or disruptions. This includes ensuring continuity of services during major disruptions and enhancing staff preparedness for worst-case scenarios.

2. Perform a Hazard and Risk Assessment to identify potential hazards, assess their likelihood of occurrence, and analyze potential impacts.

3. Develop Business Continuity Strategies to ensure CCSD can continue operations during serious incidents or disasters and recover within a reasonable timeframe.

4. Create a comprehensive Disaster Recovery Plan incorporating elements from the previous tasks.

5. Provide an internet-based solution for hosting disaster recovery plans, business impact analyses, risk assessment tools, and testing platforms for these plans.

6. Project testing, exercise, and maintenance requirements for the plan.

7. Submit an all-inclusive fixed price covering all labor, materials, and travel.

The contract period will commence upon award notification with specific timelines for each task outlined in the proposal requirements.
