CCGA-2443 Replace Roof of College of Coastal Georgia Camden Center (Kingsland GA)

Background
The College of Coastal Georgia, under the Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia, is initiating a project to replace the roof of the Camden Center located in Kingsland, GA.
This project is part of their ongoing efforts to maintain and improve their facilities to better serve their educational mission.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for furnishing all materials and performing all work required by the contract documents.
Specific tasks include:
- Preparation for reroofing, including removal of existing roofing materials.
- Installation of thermal insulation as per specifications.
- Application of asphalt shingles and polyvinyl-chloride (PVC) roofing systems.
- Installation of roof specialties and accessories, including joint sealants.
The project will adhere to the construction documents issued for bid in January 2025, which detail all requirements and specifications necessary for successful completion.

Period of Performance
The contract period will commence upon the issuance of a Proceed Order and must be completed within 180 consecutive calendar days.

The work will be performed at the College of Coastal Georgia Camden Center located at 8001 Lakes Blvd., Kingsland, Georgia 31548.
