Cauley Creek Park Overflow Parking Lot Construction

Background
The City of Johns Creek is soliciting bids for the construction of an overflow parking lot at Cauley Creek Park, located at 7255 Bell Road, Johns Creek, GA 30097.

The project aims to enhance the park's accessibility by adding 87 parking spaces, thereby supporting the park's mission to provide recreational opportunities for the community.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for all labor, materials, tools, equipment, and incidentals necessary to construct an overflow parking lot.

The scope includes grading, subgrade preparation, installation of graded aggregate base (GAB), asphalt paving, and landscaping. All work must comply with the Construction Plans and relevant specifications including City ordinances and OSHA standards.

The contractor must ensure that all improvements shown in the plans are constructed unless specified otherwise in the contract documents. Additionally, the contractor is required to inspect the job site prior to bidding and will not receive change orders for differing site conditions.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon issuance of a Notice to Proceed on February 3rd, 2025, and is expected to be substantially completed within 180 calendar days. The completion date is set for August 3rd, 2025.
