Description

All bids must be sealed and made in accordance with the enclosed bid schedule. Street materials & aggregate bids, pursuant to the enclosed bid schedule, should denote the price per ton on an as needed basis only. Lincoln County Board of Commissioners reserves the right to perform the hauling of materials with their own equipment but will need outside hauling services as well. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder. The Commission reserves the right to reject all bids. All bids should be for the year 2025.
Background
The Lincoln County Board of Commissioners in Georgia is issuing a Request for Proposal (RFP 25-005) for Bulk Aggregate Hauling services. The goal of this contract is to procure hauling services for street materials and aggregates on an as-needed basis for the year 2025. The Board reserves the right to use its own equipment for hauling but will require outside services as well. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder, with the Commission retaining the right to reject all bids.

Work Details
The contractor will provide bulk aggregate hauling services, which includes:
- Bids must denote the price per ton based on an as-needed basis.
- All bids must comply with the enclosed bid schedule and be sealed.
- The proposal must include one original and three copies, along with a signed and notarized Proposal Affidavit.
- Invoices should be mailed to P.O. Box 340, Lincolnton, Georgia 30817, citing the applicable Purchase Order Number.

Period of Performance
The contract is intended for performance throughout the year 2025.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed in Lincoln County, Georgia.
