Building B Level 3 - 4 Meeting Room Carpet Replacement

Background
The Georgia World Congress Center Authority (GWCCA) is seeking proposals for the replacement of carpet in Building B, specifically in the Level 3 - 4 Meeting Rooms. The Authority's mission includes maintaining and enhancing the facilities for public use. This project aims to improve the aesthetic and functional quality of the meeting spaces.

Work Details
The project involves the removal and disposal of existing carpet in various meeting rooms, followed by the installation of new carpet. The specific areas to be addressed include:
- B301: 2,120 sq ft
- B302-B305: 11,795 sq ft
- B306: 2,120 sq ft
- B401-B402: 6,171 sq ft
- B403: 2,182 sq ft
- B404: 2,182 sq ft
- B405-B407: 11,016 sq ft
- B408: 2,178 sq ft
- B409: 2,178 sq ft
- B410: 462 sq ft
- B411: 465 sq ft

The new carpet will consist of Respond Tile styles 5T310 Lava Springs and 5T310 Wild Flora, with a higher proportion of Wild Flora per room. Additionally, Shaw Design V36 oz carpet base in color Mouse 32595 will be installed around the perimeter of all rooms. A total of 2% attic stock is required. The contractor must coordinate with Edward Godfrey from Shaw for details on carpet tiles and patterns.

Period of Performance
The project is scheduled to commence as early as November 25th, 2024, with a completion deadline set for December 31st, 2024.

The work will be performed at the Georgia World Congress Center located at 285 Andrew Young International Blvd., Atlanta, Georgia.
