Background
The City of Albany, Georgia, is seeking bids for the Oakridge and Lockett Station Sewer Extension project. This project aims to improve critical infrastructure by installing a new sanitary sewer system. The goal is to enhance community safety and reliability in the sewer service.

Work Details
The contract involves the installation of approximately 1,356 linear feet of 8-inch PVC sanitary sewer main and seven new manholes. The contractor will also be responsible for modernizing existing service connections and ensuring full site restoration, including concrete surfacing and erosion control, in compliance with City of Albany standards. All work must conform to the project specifications outlined in the contract documents.

Period of Performance
The contract must be completed within 120 calendar days following the issuance of the Notice to Proceed.

The work will be performed at the Oakridge and Lockett Station area in Albany, Georgia.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must provide a 5% bid bond with their proposal. A 100% Performance Bond and a 100% Labor and Materials Payment Bond will be required from the successful bidder. Bidders are encouraged to hire DBE subcontractors, although this is not mandatory. All bidders must comply with Georgia's security and immigration laws, maintain appropriate insurance coverage, and submit various certifications including a Drug-Free Workplace Certification and an Indemnity Agreement.
