The City of Barnesville, Georgia is issuing a solicitation for the 2025 Street Resurfacing Project, which aims to improve local infrastructure by resurfacing specific city streets. The project is funded by the Georgia Department of Transportation, and all work must comply with their standards.

Work Details
The contract involves the asphalt overlay of approximately 0.87 miles of city streets, specifically Holmes Street (from College Drive to Dead End) and Taylor Street (from College Drive to Lafayette Street).

The work includes raising three sewer manholes and four water valves on Holmes Street, and five sewer manholes and two water valves on Taylor Street. The bid will be based on unit price items but awarded as a lump sum. Specific items required include traffic control, asphalt level including lime, SPE 9.5MM TP I BL 1 & L, bituminous tack, solid white and yellow line markings.

Period of Performance
The project must be substantially completed within 30 calendar days from the date of notice to proceed.
