Auraria Road Culvert Relining Project

Background
The Lumpkin County Board of Commissioners is requesting sealed bids for the patching and relining of a 120-inch pipe, 152’ long with high strength concrete under Auraria Road at Crooked Creek. The project requires a bid bond in the amount not less than 5% of the total bid amount. Bids will be received until 2:00 PM on Thursday, June 13, 2024. The bid documents and specifications are available for inspection at the Lumpkin County Purchasing Department and on the county website.

Work Details
The scope of work includes cement lining of a 120" CMP under Auraria Road with minimum 8,000 PSI fiber-reinforced engineered pipe repair mortar with a minimum finished thickness of 1", debris removal, invert repair, infiltration control with chemical grout, pre/post video, and bypass pumping.
The contractor is responsible for material testing and implementing and maintaining erosion control BMP standards as outlined in the state of Georgia Green Book and by the specifications contained in the bid documents for this project. The project also involves supervising construction and being subject to inspections and audits by the Georgia Department of Transportation.

Period of Performance
The contract between the County and the Contractor shall become effective upon signing and shall be completed no later than 120 calendar days from the day the Notice to Proceed is issued.

Place of Performance
The project will be performed under Auraria Road at Crooked Creek in Lumpkin County, Georgia.
