Architectural and Construction Management Related Consulting Services

Background
The City of Peachtree City is seeking proposals from qualified firms to provide professional architectural and construction management related consulting services. The selected firm will assist in the design and construction of public facilities, including police stations, fire stations, recreation facilities, and administrative offices. The goal is to engage a firm with at least ten years of experience in managing similar projects.

Work Details
The firm must provide full-service design and construction management services from concept to completion, which includes: surveying, environmental assessments, geotechnical studies, structural design, civil-site design, and project management.

Specific tasks may include:
- Schematic/Conceptual Design Services: Review existing structures/sites, incorporate ADA and life safety requirements, architectural and structural design.
- Design Development Services: Refinement of plans and code requirement reviews with the owner and agencies.
- Construction Document Services: Development of final construction documents and execution of bid documents.
- Bidding Services: Review bids, negotiate bidding terms, issue addenda as necessary.
- Construction Contract Administration Services: Conduct inspections for compliance with approved plans, review change orders, conduct closeout inspections.

Period of Performance
The contract is expected to last approximately one year from the date of acceptance through September 30, 2025. There is an option for extension for additional calendar years based on performance.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed in Peachtree City, Georgia.
