Additions, Renovations, And Modifications for Early County Elementary and Middle/High School

Background
The Early County School System is undertaking a significant project to merge the High School and Middle School into a single facility, with an estimated budget of $18,000,000.
The goal of this contract is to provide construction management services for the additions, renovations, and modifications required for the Early County Middle/High School and Early County Elementary School located in Blakely, Georgia.

Work Details
The scope of work includes:
- Construction of a CTAE and PE addition, approximately 49,000 square feet at the current Middle School location.
- Improvements to parking and drive areas at the current Middle School site.
- Renovations and modifications necessary for converting the existing Middle School into a Middle/High School.
- Demolition of the existing Middle School Gymnasium.
- Demolition of the existing High School, excluding the Auditorium and Competition Gym.
- Renovation and modifications to the Elementary School to accommodate program adjustments due to the conversion of the Middle School.

Period of Performance
The project timeline includes a mandatory pre-proposal conference on September 26, 2024, with proposals due by October 10, 2024.
The Board of Education's approval for the Construction Management contract is expected on October 15, 2024.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed at Early County Middle/High School and Early County Elementary School located in Blakely, Georgia.
