Background
The Georgia Department of Health (DPH) is issuing a Request for Proposals (RFP) for a single qualified Supplier to provide AIDS Drug Assistance Program (ADAP) Pharmacy Benefit Manager (PBM) services. Work Details
The Supplier shall provide the following services:
- Maintain and expand a statewide comprehensive pharmacy network and claims adjudication system, coordinating multiple contract pharmacies throughout Georgia.
- Provide and manage the ADAP eligibility electronic application and recertification process.
- Implement a 340B compliant electronic inventory management system with EDI capabilities, ensuring 24-hour medication replenishment to the pharmacy network.
- Deliver reporting that meets client-level data requirements as mandated by Georgia ADAP and the Ryan White HIV/AIDS Treatment Extension Act of 2009.
- Ensure that ADAP serves as the payer of last resort by confirming there are no other third-party payers involved.
Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon award and is expected to continue for an initial term, with options for renewal as specified in the final agreement.
