300, 000 Gallon Elevated Storage Tank

Background
The Effingham County Industrial Development Authority (ECIDA) is issuing this Invitation to Bid for improvements to the Grande View Development, specifically for the construction of a 300,000 Gallon Elevated Storage Tank. This project is partially funded by Federal funds from the United States Department of Commerce, Economic Development Administration, and is subject to applicable federal laws and regulations.

The goal of the contract is to enhance water storage infrastructure to serve the industrial site known as Grande View Development in Effingham County, Georgia.

Work Details
The work includes the installation of a 300,000 gallon Composite or Spheroid Tank (bidders must specify which type in their bid) along with all necessary appurtenances required to connect to the existing water main. The project work is defined by the Bidding Documents and includes improvements necessary for the elevated water storage tank infrastructure.

Period of Performance
The contract performance period will commence upon award and is expected to be completed by August 27, 2025.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at the Grande View Development site located in Effingham County, Georgia.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must comply with O.C.G.A. § 43-14-8.2 regarding Georgia utility contractor’s licensing. A bid bond of 5% of the bid amount must accompany each bid. The successful bidder will be required to provide a payment and performance bond equal to 100% of the contract price.

Bidders must also submit an executed E-Verify affidavit and a non-collusion affidavit with their bids. Additionally, bidders are encouraged to be locally owned firms, small businesses, or minority-owned businesses.
