Background
Fayette County, Georgia is seeking quotes for the contract titled #26021-A Starrs Mill Tree Removal, Stump Grinding, Underbrush Removal, and Mulching. The purpose of this contract is to obtain services for tree removal and related tasks at Starrs Mill Park, a 5-acre parcel located at 115 Waterfall Way, Fayetteville, GA 30215.

Work Details
The contractor will perform the following tasks:

1. Remove and grind stumps of trees of various types of diameters.
2. Remove groups of small trees and underbrush, cutting as low as possible, and grind stumps.
3. Prune limbs to raise the canopy so that waterfalls are visible from the porch of the white house and the upper field area.
4. Remove river birches near the water edge and a group of maples; no stumps will be grounded to prevent erosion, but they should be cut as low as possible.

All areas for work are marked with yellow tape by the County. The contractor is responsible for removing all other trees and stump debris off-site.

Period of Performance
The work is expected to be performed during standard hours from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with quotes accepted until August 27, 2025.

Bidder Requirements
