Background
The City of Fairburn is seeking bids for the Strickland Street Pedestrian Improvements Project, aimed at enhancing pedestrian safety and accessibility in a predominantly residential area. The project includes the installation of a concrete sidewalk, pedestrian lighting, and ADA-compliant ramps to improve access along Strickland Street.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for the following tasks:

1. Installation of a 5-foot concrete sidewalk along the west side of Strickland Street from Spring Street to Elder Street.
2. Installation of pedestrian lighting as part of Add Alternate #1.
3. Construction of new ADA ramps and textured crosswalks at designated locations.
4. Compliance with erosion and sediment control measures as per state regulations.
5. Restoration of any disturbed areas to their original condition or better prior to project completion.

Period of Performance
The contract work is expected to commence upon award and must be completed by May 22, 2026.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed along Strickland Street in Fairburn, Georgia.
