Background
Fulton County, Georgia, is seeking bids for Water Meter Testing and Repair Services for the Department of Public Works. The goal of this contract is to ensure accurate and efficient testing and repair of water meters in compliance with American Water Works Association (AWWA) standards.

Work Details
The contractor will provide comprehensive water meter testing and repair services, including:
- Testing of various sizes of water meters (1 ½”, 2”, 3”, 4”, 6”, 8”, 10”, and 12”) for accuracy.
- Bench testing for 1 ½” and 2” meters unless a test port is available, with same-day replacement required.
- In-place testing for meters larger than 3”.
- All necessary parts for repairs must be provided by the contractor, with reimbursement at manufacturer’s list price.
- Calibration and re-testing of each unit to conform to AWWA standards after repairs.
- Coordination of service disruptions with customers.
- Submission of a certified test report within two weeks post-service detailing meter size, type, brand, readings, serial number, and address.
- Warranty on parts and workmanship for one year.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon award and is set to end on December 31, 2026. There are options for two one-year renewals subject to approval by the County Board of Commissioners.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed within Fulton County, Georgia.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must be registered vendors with BidNet Direct to submit a response. They must comply with the Georgia Security & Immigration Compliance Act by providing proof of registration in the E-Verify program. Additionally, bidders must provide evidence of insurance coverage as outlined in the solicitation documents.
