2550-B: Water Treatment Chemicals

Background
Fayette County, Georgia is seeking bids for an annual contract from qualified suppliers for the purchase of various types of water treatment chemicals. The goal of this contract is to enable the Fayette County Water System to procure these chemicals on an as-needed basis throughout the contract period.

Work Details
The contractor will provide various water treatment chemicals, including but not limited to:

- Liquid Alum (AWWA #B403-16)
- Liquid Chlorine (AWWA #301-18)
- Sodium Silica Fluoride (AWWA #B702-18)
- Sodium Hypochlorite (AWWA #B300-18)
- 78% Sulfuric Acid NSF
- Copper Sulfate (AWWA #B602-17)

Deliveries are to be made within 1 to 3 days of receipt of order between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding holidays. Deliveries will be made to two locations: Crosstown Water Treatment Plant and South Fayette Water Treatment Plant. Each shipment must include a Purchase Order Number, Delivery Address, Chemical Shipped/Delivered, Quantity Shipped/Delivered, Unit Price, and Total Invoice Amount. A Product Data Sheet for each chemical bid must also be provided.

Period of Performance
The contract will be in effect for one year from the date of award, with the possibility of renewal based on mutual agreement.

Place of Performance
Deliveries will be made to the following locations in Fayette County, Georgia:

- Crosstown Water Treatment Plant at 3500 TDK Blvd., Peachtree City, GA 30269
- South Fayette Water Treatment Plant at 880 Antioch Road, Fayetteville, GA 30215.
