25309 HVAC Replacement for Miller County PK-12 School

Background
The Miller County School District is issuing a contract for the HVAC Replacement project at the Miller County PK-12 School located in Colquitt, GA.
The goal of this project is to enhance the school's heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems to ensure a comfortable and safe learning environment for students and staff.

Work Details
The project consists of the complete replacement of existing wall-mounted heat pumps and dedicated outside air units.
Additionally, it includes miscellaneous duct replacement and installation, replacement of the control system, and miscellaneous painting.
The work will be performed under a General Contract covering all trades involved in the HVAC system upgrade.

Period of Performance
The successful bidder is expected to begin procuring materials upon receipt of the Notice to Proceed, estimated to be on December 10, 2025.
Actual work is scheduled to start on June 1, 2026, with a completion deadline prior to July 28, 2026.
Bidders may propose work prior to June 1 if an agreement is reached with the Owner and Architect.

The contract will be performed at Miller County PK-12 School located at 996 Phillipsburg Rd., Colquitt, GA 39837.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must be properly licensed under the laws governing their respective trades.
They are required to obtain insurance and bonds necessary for the work.
A Performance Bond and acceptable insurance will be mandatory for the successful bidder.
