25022 RFP Sandy Creek Nature Center Exhibit, SPLOST 2020 Project 15

Background
The Unified Government of Athens-Clarke County (ACCGov) is seeking proposals for professional Nature Center Exhibit Design & Installation services for the Sandy Creek Nature Center Exhibit Project. This project aims to enhance and update exhibit graphics and multimedia at the Sandy Creek Nature Center located at 205 Old Commerce Road, Athens, Georgia. The funding for this project comes from the Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax Program (SPLOST 2020), specifically Project 15.

Work Details
The selected vendor will be responsible for the following tasks:

- Removal of existing exhibit items (to be retained by the facility)
- Renovation, design, fabrication, procurement, and installation of new exhibit graphics and multimedia within the coastal and wetland exhibit areas.

Vendors must submit one to three design proposals that include detailed descriptions of proposed exhibit items. Each design proposal must be accompanied by a corresponding price proposal that adheres to the budget limit of $250,000. The project aims to promote interactivity and learning while ensuring ADA compliance and durability of materials used.

Period of Performance
The contract is expected to be completed within 90 calendar days after the Notice to Proceed is issued.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at Sandy Creek Nature Center located at 205 Old Commerce Road, Athens, Georgia.

Bidder Requirements
Vendors must comply with ACCGov's Business Inclusion Policy which includes an aspirational goal of 12% participation from Minority and Women Business Enterprises (M/WBE). Additionally, vendors are required to provide a Georgia Security & Immigration Compliance affidavit and maintain compliance with all relevant state laws throughout the contract period.
