25-905 Concrete Flatwork Repair Related to Hurricane Helene Storm Damage

Background
The contract is issued by the Augusta Engineering and Environmental Services Department in response to damages caused by Hurricane Helene. The project aims to restore community safety, accessibility, and storm resilience by repairing and replacing sidewalks, curbs, gutters, and other concrete structures that were damaged due to severe weather events. Work Details
The scope of work includes:
1. Removal and replacement of damaged concrete panels;

All work will be compensated on a Lump Sum (LS) basis, which includes all mobilization labor, equipment, materials, supervision, traffic control, and incidentals necessary for completion.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must provide a 5% bid bond with their proposal. They are required to have a valid business license for Richmond County if awarded the contract. Compliance with Georgia E-Verify laws is mandatory for contractors performing services over $2,499. Bidders must also demonstrate experience in similar work and submit a Financial Experience and Equipment Statement along with their proposal.
