Background
Augusta Utilities is seeking bids for a new Diesel Engine for the #8 Raw Water Pump Station, which is essential for municipal infrastructure operations. Work Details
The contract includes the provision of a 16 Cylinder 1600 HP 2300 RPM Continuous Running Heavy Duty Stationary Diesel Engine and Hydro Drive. The engine specifications are based on a Cummins KTA50 Diesel Engine or an equivalent Caterpillar Engine. Bidders must provide proof that any alternative engine is equal or superior to the specified models.

The bid must include:
- A list of recommended spare parts with separate pricing.
- Compliance with technical integration protocols designed around existing Cummins and Caterpillar systems.
- Delivery of the engine mounted on a frame ready for installation.
- An OEM warranty on parts, with options for additional warranty coverage listed separately.

The diesel engine will be delivered to the Augusta Utilities Department, Facilities & Maintenance Division Raw Water Pump Station located at Goodrich Street, Augusta, GA 30901.
