Background
The City of Sandy Springs, Georgia, is issuing this Invitation to Bid for the Burdett Park Renovation Project. The project aims to enhance the park facilities and improve the overall landscape, aligning with the city's mission to provide quality public spaces for community use.

Work Details
The scope of work includes:
- Demolition of existing invasive plants and grass;
- Grading and drainage improvements;
- Construction of a compacted crushed granite path with cobble edging;
- Installation of new pedestrian lighting;
- Laying a new water line and drinking fountain;
- Landscape enhancements;
- Provision of park furnishings such as benches, trash receptacles, and dog waste stations.

Specific items include:
- 1 LS for invasives removal,
- 640 SF for construction entrance/exit,
- 50 LF for HDPE drain line for fountain,
- 30 CY crushed granite path,
- 12,500 SF Bermuda sod,
among others detailed in the bid schedule.

Period of Performance
The contract work is expected to commence within ten (10) days after receipt of the Notice to Proceed. Substantial completion must be achieved within two hundred and ten (210) calendar days from that date.

The work will be performed at Burdett Park located in Sandy Springs, Georgia.
