25-013 TSPLOST MILLING and RESURFACING YEAR 4

Background
The City of Griffin, Georgia, is seeking bids from qualified organizations to provide materials, equipment, labor, and services necessary for milling, resurfacing, and striping work on approximately 6.08 miles of street in the City.

This project is part of the TSPLOST (Transportation Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax) initiative aimed at improving local infrastructure.

Work Details
The contract includes milling and resurfacing work on various streets totaling approximately 6.08 miles. Specific streets include:

- Anne St
- Buckingham Place
- Cardinal Dr
- E Cherry St
- Haskell Ward Dr/Stark St
- N 6th St
- N 10th St
- New Orleans St
- S 8th St
- S 10th St
- Spalding Dr
- W Cherry St
- W Tinsley St
- Westminster Cir
- Westminster Dr.

The project also involves striping parking spaces and replacing existing markings such as stop bars and turn arrows. The successful bidder must perform full-width milling with a Type 2 9.5mm asphalt mix and ensure that milled surfaces remain open for no more than two days. Traffic control measures must be maintained throughout the project to ensure public safety.

Period of Performance
All work shall commence within fifteen (15) days of the Notice to Proceed and shall be completed within ninety (90) calendar days thereafter.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed on various streets within the City of Griffin, Georgia.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must provide a performance bond and a payment bond prior to contract execution.
