25-002 TS172 Brandon Mill Road Sidewalk

Background
The project involves the construction of a sidewalk on Brandon Mill Road between Brandon Ridge Drive and Lost Forest Drive. The improvements will include realigning a portion of Brandon Mill Road approximately 4-feet to the north of existing, approximately 1,775 LF of sidewalk, drainage system including 637 LF 18” RCP, two (2) parapet walls, pavement widening, and various pavement markings and signage.
The project is to be funded through the Sandy Springs TSPLOST funding.

Work Details
The scope of work includes the construction of sidewalk, drainage system, parapet walls, pavement widening, and pavement markings. The project will be constructed under an NPDES GAR100002 permit and a Georgia Department of Transportation Encroachment permit.
The Contractor must perform at least 51% of work and must be a pre-qualified Prime Contractor listed by the Georgia Department of Transportation. All work performed shall be in accordance with the Georgia Department of Transportation Standard Specifications, Construction of Transportation Systems (current edition).
