Background
Fayette County, Georgia is seeking bids from qualified contractors to paint the exterior of the Fayette County Library and Gazebo located at 1821 Heritage Parkway, Fayetteville, GA 30214. The Fayette County Public Library has served the community for over 20 years and is part of the Flint River Library System. The library staff, led by Director Michelle Bennett-Copeland, takes pride in maintaining the building and providing various activities for the community.

The goal of this contract is to enhance the library's exterior appearance through professional painting services.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, vehicles, tools, and materials necessary to complete the job. Specific requirements include:
1. Pressure washing all areas to be painted, including the gazebo.
2. Providing drop cloths or other protective measures for sidewalks, plants, and grass.
3. Replacing damaged wood as specified during the pre-quote meeting.
4. Painting soffits, fascia boards, trim, and any wood on windows.
5. Providing signage or cones to keep work areas free of pedestrians.
6. Coordinating with library staff to manage entry points while work is ongoing.
7. Ensuring that all work is performed without extended delays once started.
8. Adhering to a strict no tobacco policy on county property.
9. Maintaining courteous and professional conduct by all personnel on-site.

Period of Performance
The contractor must state the time needed to commence work after receiving a Notice to Proceed (NTP), which should be less than 30 days. Additionally, they should indicate the length of time required to complete the project, which should also be less than 30 days.
