24-022 Architectural & Engineering (A&E) Design Services for DOT Admin Building

Background
Douglas County is issuing this Request for Proposal to solicit proposals from a qualified Civil + Architect team to assist in the development of a concept and detailed design for a new Department of Transportation Administration building at Douglas County’s transportation center. The project will provide office space for administrative personnel and will be funded with SPLOST funds. The Project is required to comply with all applicable statutes, rules, and regulations, as well as those of Douglas County, including local permitting of the project.

Work Details
The Project will include the entire Pre-Construction phase, including data collection, survey & plating, concept development, geotech evaluations, detailed schematic design, detailed site/building design (including demolition, grading, drainage, utility, structural, architectural, electrical, plumbing, fire protection design), construction documents, all applicable permitting, and bid assistance & construction administration.

Period of Performance
The County seeks completion of the pre-construction phase within a 6-month period.
