Background
The City of Thomasville, Georgia, is issuing this Invitation to Bid (ITB) #2026-203 for the procurement of one (1) Skid Steer with Mulching Head / Forestry Mulcher. This equipment will be utilized by the Electric Department to enhance operational efficiency and support municipal services.

Work Details
The contract entails the provision of a complete Skid Steer with Mulching Head / Forestry Mulcher that meets the following specifications:

The equipment must be new, a standard model in current production, and include all standard features, accessories, and warranties.

Key specifications include:
1. Engine Specs: Diesel fuel type, 4 cylinders, minimum 200 HP.
2. Travel Specs: Rubber track type.
3. Hydraulic System: Variable piston type with high flow pump rate of at least 50 GPM.
4. Safety Features: Must meet or exceed current Federal and DOT standards.
5. Delivery Requirements: Complete with a full tank of fuel and no vendor logos prior to delivery.
6. Manuals: Two complete sets of maintenance and repair manuals in English are required at delivery.
7. The unit must undergo pre-delivery inspection by the vendor/dealer.

Period of Performance
The contract performance period is expected to commence upon award and delivery of the equipment, which should be specified by the bidder.

Delivery is to be made to the City of Thomasville Fleet Maintenance Shop located at 923 Davenport Drive, Thomasville, GA 31792.
