Background
The Habersham County Board of Commissioners is seeking proposals for the construction of a metal building as part of their ongoing efforts to enhance county facilities.
The project aims to provide a functional structure that meets the needs of the community and aligns with the county's mission to improve public services.

Work Details
The scope of work includes the design and construction of a 40' x 40' metal building on an existing asphalt pad.
Specific requirements for the building include:
1. Color: Beige
2. Metal gauge: Standard
3. Leg height: 14 feet
4. One 36-inch entry door on one end
5. Three 12' x 12' garage door openings on one side, with garage doors and installation to be included as a separate item.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon award, tentatively scheduled for May 22, 2026, and will continue until the completion of the project.

Place of Performance
The construction will take place at Habersham County Facilities Building, located at 4306 Toccoa Highway, Clarkesville, GA 30523.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must provide proof of liability insurance and worker’s compensation insurance as required by state law.
Additionally, bidders must certify that they are not under any part of the Bankruptcy Act within the previous seven years.
The county encourages participation from Minority Business Enterprises (MBE), Female Business Enterprises (FBE), and Small Business Enterprises (SBE).
