2025 Road Overlay

Background
The City of Chatsworth, Georgia, is issuing this solicitation for the 2025 LMIG Citywide Paving Project. The project aims to enhance the roadway infrastructure within the city by repaving and overlaying more than 1.2 miles of various streets. This initiative is part of the city's commitment to maintaining and improving public roadways for better transportation and safety.

Work Details
The construction work includes milling, asphalt overlay/repaving, leveling, and striping on up to 1.2 miles of roadways including:
- Market St (Hwy 411 to 4th Ave)
- 10th Ave
- Ross Ave (Peachtree St to Cohutta St)
- Bernard St
- Bradley St
- Mary Francis St
- Pematoma Way
- Fort St Place.

The project will involve approximately 17,585 square yards (SY) of resurfacing using around 1,398 tons of asphalt. Additionally, paint and striping replacement will be conducted as part of the project. All work must conform to Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) standards and other contract requirements.

Period of Performance
The work is expected to begin within 60 calendar days after the Notice to Proceed is issued and must be substantially completed within 180 calendar days. All punch-list items must be completed within 30 days following the Final Inspection.
