Description

The City of Johns Creek Public Works Department (City), requests that interested parties submit formal sealed bids/proposals for the plant mix resurfacing within (6) Johns Creek subdivisions and (1) parking lot.
Background
The City of Johns Creek Public Works Department is seeking formal sealed bids for the resurfacing of roads and parking lots within six subdivisions and one park in Johns Creek, Georgia. The goal of this contract is to enhance the quality and safety of local roadways and public spaces through necessary resurfacing and patching work.

Work Details
The contractor will perform plant mix resurfacing and patching in the following areas:
1. The Reserve at Autry Mill (Resurfacing)
2. Jones Bridge Hills (Resurfacing)
3. Beckton Hall (Resurfacing)
4. Doublegate (Patch)
5. Surrey Park (Patch)
6. Thornhill (Cul-De-Sac profile mill and resurface to drain).

Additionally, Ocee Park's parking lot will be resurfaced. All work will involve resurfacing with 1.25" of 9.5mm asphalt, profile milling on mainlines and branches, and a depth of 2" for cul-de-sacs. Patching will be milled at full lane width at a depth of 2" and resurfaced with 9.5mm asphalt.

The contractor must adhere to GDOT specifications, City ordinances, OSHA standards, and other applicable regulations.

Period of Performance
The contract period begins upon receipt of the Notice to Proceed on June 1, 2025, and ends on September 30, 2025.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed in six subdivisions within Johns Creek, Georgia: The Reserve at Autry Mill, Jones Bridge Hills, Beckton Hall, Doublegate, Surrey Park, Thornhill, as well as Ocee Park.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must have verifiable experience in similar projects and submit three references demonstrating this experience. All materials used must come from GDOT approved sources.

Contractors are required to maintain worker’s compensation and commercial general liability insurance with specified minimum coverage amounts.
