2025 LMIG and SPLOST Project

Background
The Greene County Board of Commissioners is issuing a solicitation for the 2025 LMIG and SPLOST Project aimed at improving county roads.
The LMIG project focuses on resurfacing 44.04 miles of county roads, while the SPLOST project involves building shoulders on 25.4 miles of these roads.
The overall goal is to enhance road safety and infrastructure within Greene County, Georgia.

Work Details
The LMIG project includes:
- Deep patching, chip seal, mill tie-ins, and plant mix resurfacing of 44.04 miles of county roads.
- Specific locations for deep patching include Ben Hammond Place, Old Rock Road, and Lake Oconee Trail.
- Additional work includes striping, stop bars, and traffic control.

The SPLOST project includes:
- Building 3-foot shoulders with permanent vegetation along 25.4 miles of county roads.
- Activities include grading, hauling, compacting, sweeping, hydro-seeding, and traffic control.
- Vegetation must be established and the contractor can excavate dirt from a designated borrow site.

Period of Performance
The contract work is expected to commence within ten calendar days from the receipt of Notice to Proceed and must be completed by August 30, 2025.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed on various county roads located in Greene County, Georgia.
