Catoosa County Board of Commissioners is seeking sealed written proposals from qualified vendors for one (1) Tandem Axle Dump Truck equal to a Kenworth T480. The dump truck shall be delivered to Catoosa County Public Works located at 929 Shope Ridge Rd, Ringgold, GA 30736. Bid Documents are available on the County Website at: https://www.catoosa.com/bids. TWO (2) copies of your Bid must be sealed and delivered in person, by mail or overnight delivery service to the office of the Board of Commissioners, 800 LaFayette Street, Ringgold, GA 30736 not later than 2:00 p.m. EST on Thursday, May 22, 2025. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. Bids received after said time will not be accepted. The envelope shall state ITB: 2025-12 CCPW Tandem Dump Truck to prevent accidental opening. Bids shall be identified on the exterior of the sealed envelope with all the information required by law, including the name of the project and the Respondent's name, address and license number, expiration date and classification (as applicable). All such written inquiries must be delivered by 12:00 noon, on Friday, May 16, 2025. CCBOC will publish a response to all inquiries on its website at www.catoosa.com/bids on Monday, May 19, 2025. Catoosa County reserves the right to accept or reject any and all Bids, to waive formalities, technicalities, or irregularities and to re-advertise if necessary. Any Bid submitted in response to this Request shall remain open for acceptance by the Board, and same shall be honored by the contractor, for a period of sixty (60) days from the date set forth hereinabove for the receipt of Bids.

The purpose of this contract is to enhance the operational capabilities of the Catoosa County Public Works department, which is responsible for maintaining and improving public infrastructure within the county.

Work Details
The contractor will provide one (1) new and unused Tandem Axle Dump Truck that meets or exceeds the specifications outlined in the solicitation. The truck must be delivered to Catoosa County Public Works located at 929 Shope Ridge Rd, Ringgold, GA 30736. Specifications include:

- Model: Kenworth T480 or equivalent
- Cab Paint: White
- Dump Body Paint: Black
- Front Axle Load: 20,000 lbs.
- Rear Axle Load: 40,000 lbs.
- Gross Combined Weight: 64,000 lbs.
- Wheelbase: 210 inches
- Engine: Paccar PX9 with approximately 380HP
- Transmission: Allison 4000 6 Speed with PTO
- Tires: Front - 315/80R22.5; Rear - 11R/22.5
- Dump Body Specifications including a 16.7 Yard Insulated Bed with High Lift Gate and various other components as detailed in the solicitation.

Period of Performance
The contract period will commence upon delivery of the dump truck and is expected to be completed within a timeframe that aligns with the delivery schedule specified by the contractor.

Bidder Requirements
