2025-10 Tree Removal & Maintence Project

Background
The City of Sandersville is seeking bids for a Tree Removal and Maintenance Project, aimed at providing essential tree services within the city limits. This project is part of the city's commitment to maintaining public safety and enhancing the urban environment. The selected contractor will be responsible for various tree-related services, ensuring compliance with local ordinances and industry standards.

Work Details
The contractor will provide miscellaneous tree services including, but not limited to: trimming, topping, felling, pruning, stump grinding, and removal of all debris from the site. The contractor must respond to emergencies within 24 hours of notification by the City of Sandersville. All work must comply with general and special city ordinances as well as standards set by the International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) and the American National Standards Institute (ANSI). Additionally, unit pricing for specific tasks such as tree removal based on diameter at breast height and stump grinding is required.

Period of Performance
The contract will be for one annual year, with work to commence within three days following the notice to proceed.

Place of Performance
All services will be performed within the city limits of Sandersville, Georgia.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must provide current copies of their local, county or state business license. They are also required to submit a Certificate of Insurance that meets minimum coverage requirements including commercial general liability and worker's compensation. Compliance with Georgia Security and Immigration Compliance Act is mandatory, requiring contractors to complete affidavits confirming participation in a federal work authorization program.
