2025-002 Inodic Grants Park Improvement Projects

Background
Spalding County is issuing a solicitation for the INODIC Grants Park Improvement Projects aimed at upgrading existing youth sports facilities. The project includes enhancements to Ambucs Park and Volunteer Park, which serve the community's recreational needs. The goal is to improve accessibility, safety, and overall functionality of these facilities for local youth sports activities.

Work Details
The project consists of two main components:

1. **Ambucs Park**:
- Upgrade five (5) baseball fields with regrading, new sod, and infield baseline material.
- Upgrade the gymnasium with a new ADA access ramp.
- Install new walkways, bleachers, batting cages, bullpens, dugouts, lighting, and other miscellaneous accessories throughout the park.
- Replace and expand the stormwater piping system.
- Construct seven (7) new parking spaces with curb and gutter and asphalt paving.

2. **Volunteer Park**:
- Upgrade two (2) football fields and four (4) softball fields; regrade football fields in place.
- Reconfigure the facility to include three (3) softball fields and one (1) training field.
- Construct a concession building and a combination restroom/concession building.
- Install new walkways, bleachers, batting cages, bullpens, dugouts, lighting, and other miscellaneous accessories throughout the park.

Period of Performance
The time allowed for Substantial Completion is 335 days from the date of commencement, with a total completion timeframe of 365 days for readiness for final payment.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at Ambucs Park located at 890 High Falls Road, Griffin, Georgia 30223 and Volunteer Park located at 501 Flynt Street, Griffin, Georgia 30223.
